From Dreams to Destiny: Trusting God’s Plan

Every dream, every plan, and every step in my life has been a journey of learning, growth, and surrender to God’s purpose. Looking back, I realize that while I had my plans, God had something much greater in store.

A Vision in Childhood

When I was in 5th standard, God gave me a vision—to help the poor and needy, to build an orphanage, and to support pastors and their children who were struggling like my family. This vision became the foundation of my life.

At that young age, I believed that money was essential to make this dream a reality. I started trying to earn and build something meaningful from an early age. But today, I understand that while money is a provision, it’s not the ultimate purpose.

The First Steps

8th Standard: I started with a small-scale fashion store and dreamed of expanding into multiple shops.

10th Standard: I ran a small travel agency, planning tours and educating others. I dreamed of scaling it, but it didn’t work out as planned.

12th Standard: I extended my efforts, but nothing significant materialized. During this time, I helped a believer from our church, Sheeja Aunty, with her small business. Assisting her felt like a step toward my dream of building something impactful.

Starting Again in Mumbai

When I moved to Mumbai for my B.Com, I launched a manpower consultancy. It started well but eventually shut down during the lockdown.

At 17, I followed my passion for photography and started weddimg photography (Photopedia). Despite my efforts, it didn’t achieve the success I hoped for.

By 18, I ventured into fashion again but it also didn’t go as planned.

A Turning Point

During the lockdown, I learned designing, which became a small source of income. Through this, I discovered the importance of branding and started my journey into media production.

I dreamed of starting a full-scale media and marketing company, but the plans kept growing bigger, and I struggled to handle the work due to limited resources.

The Birth of Kerith

At the age of 20, after praying, God gave me the name Kerith. This brand became the foundation for all my future dreams, including Kerith Fashions and Kerith Group of Education.

With the help of my childhood friend Libin, I launched Kerith Entertainment Private Limited. Initially, things went well with God’s grace. But as time passed, I lost my prayer life, trusted people blindly, and faced many challenges.

Even though I had reached 90% of my dream, God told me to shut down the company. It was a painful decision, but I obeyed His voice.

A New Beginning

God led me to Maharashtra, where I fully surrendered my life to full-time ministry. He connected me with Pastor Saji Mathew, who shares the same vision.

In just one month, God provided opportunities I couldn’t have achieved on my own in 10+ years. I now work to provide free education to the needy, and though the orphanage is still a work in progress, I know God is working through me to fulfill His purpose.

Lessons Learned

I started businesses and pursued success because I believed money was the key to achieving my dreams. But now I understand that money is just a tool—it’s not the ultimate goal. God’s plans are far greater than anything I could imagine.

Dear Child of God,

Submit yourself into His hands, and He will use you for His glory. Your plans may be good, but His plans are perfect. You are chosen, and He saw you before the foundations of the earth. Trust Him, and He will lead you into His purpose for your life.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jeremiah 29:11)

The Power of My Father’s Prayers

Growing up, I would often hear my father praying, asking God for wisdom, knowledge, and discernment. His humility always reminded me of King Solomon’s prayer when he became king. Instead of asking for wealth or power, Solomon asked God for wisdom to lead his people (1 Kings 3:7-12). My father’s prayers were similar, always saying, “Lord, I am nothing without You. I need Your wisdom.”

Over time, God answered my father’s prayers. Although he had struggled with education and speaking, he went on to finish Bible college with good marks. For over 20 years now, he has been faithfully serving in ministry.

“If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.” – James 1:5

How God Poured Wisdom into My Life.

As I reflect on my own journey, I realize that God was answering my father’s prayers not just for himself, but also for me. God gave me skills and opportunities that I could never have achieved on my own. Like Bezalel, whom God filled with wisdom, understanding, and skills to craft the tabernacle (Exodus 31:2-5), I received the ability to work with media, learn over 80 different software programs. These were blessings that came through my father's faithful prayers.

Inspired by my father’s faith, I began my own journey at 17, driven by a passion for media and creativity. After 5 years of hands-on experience in media production, branding, and marketing, I ran my own business. But during that time, God spoke to me and asked me to stop. He told me to wait for His timing, promising a new direction in Maharashtra. Following God’s call, I moved to Mumbai, I was referred by my aunt to SEAL Ashram, where I began volunteering. I believed this was where God wanted me, but after working there for a month and eight days, things didn’t go as I expected. The organization wasn’t satisfied with my work, and I didn’t receive any confirmation or official joining letter. I prayed for clarity, and soon, God opened another door through, a sister in Christ.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”– Proverbs 3:5-6

Conclusion: God's Faithfulness

My father’s story is a testament to God’s faithfulness and the power of prayer. His prayers for wisdom and knowledge were answered not only in his life but also in mine. As I look at the skills and opportunities God has given me, I know they are not because of my own ability but because of His Grace.

Like Solomon, whose wisdom was a gift from God, I’ve come to understand that the wisdom and skills we receive are not for our own glory but for His kingdom.

If you feel lost or uncertain about your future, know that God can pour His wisdom and grace into your life, just as He did for my father and for me. When we humble ourselves before Him, He lifts us up in ways we could never imagine.

A Dream Planted by God: Unclear Purpose and Calling Turning Into God's Divine Plan for My Life

Over 12 years ago, God planted a dream in my heart. It wasn’t just a fleeting idea but a calling that came from a deep, unforgettable moment in my childhood. As a boy, riding with my family on our old Bajaj Chetak, I saw two young children on the streets—hungry, desperate, and crying for food. Their suffering pierced my heart, and though I was just a child, I knew in that moment that I wanted to help children like them. But I felt powerless.

That experience stayed with me, and as I grew older, the burden on my heart only deepened. I knew I had to do something to care for those in need. I was inspired by one of my mother’s friends, a missionary who ran an orphanage in Orissa. His dedication to providing love, care, and shelter to children moved me deeply. I knew that I was called to follow a similar path.

While this dream of helping children was always at the forefront of my mind, another passion began to grow in me—photography. I found inspiration in the adventures of Bear Grylls, and photography became my creative outlet and a way to explore the world. By the age of 17, I joined a wedding photography company. I quickly developed my skills in media production, marketing, branding, and event management, and this eventually led me to start my own business.

The business flourished, and I saw success beyond my expectations. However, even though the company was growing, I knew that God had a greater purpose for my life. This business was only a stepping stone, preparing me for the vision He had planted in my heart: to build an orphanage and support children in need across India. Despite receiving multiple offers for investments and partnerships, I turned them down, knowing that my life’s purpose was not tied to business alone.

But as I pressed forward, I faced significant challenges. I made mistakes—mixing personal relationships with business, trusting the wrong people, and overextending myself emotionally. One pivotal moment came when I traveled to Bihar for a dear brother’s wedding. What was meant to be a short trip turned into an extended stay, and I contracted typhoid. This illness took me away from work, and I found myself questioning my direction. Even in those difficult times, I clung to my faith, trusting that God was still leading me.

In a moment of clarity, I felt God calling me to leave my business behind and follow a new path. I didn’t know exactly what it would look like, but I trusted Him. I shut down the business and moved to Maharashtra, leaving behind everything I had built. I entered this new season with uncertainty but complete reliance on God’s guidance.

When I arrived in Mumbai, I faced rejection in a series of job interviews. Every opportunity seemed promising, but none of them worked out. It was discouraging, but I continued to trust that God had a plan. Through a family connection, I was referred to an NGO, where I began volunteering. I believed this was where God wanted me, but after working there for a month and eight days, things didn’t go as I expected. The organization wasn’t satisfied with my work, and I didn’t receive any confirmation or official joining letter. I prayed for clarity, and soon, God opened another door through, a sister in Christ.

From Uncertainty to Divine Purpose: Surrendering My Life to Christ.

On April 7, 2022, I made a life-changing decision—I fully surrendered my life to supporting the ministry in North India. For 20 years, I had lived as a pastor’s kid, always saying I wanted to support pastors, missionaries, and help poor families. But in reality, I didn’t have a personal connection with Jesus. Everything changed that day. I began a journey of spiritual growth, starting devotions and daily prayers. I even tried to join Bible colleges and programs like YWAM, but none of them worked out.

In September 2022, I had my first real encounter with God. I started asking Him questions about His plans for me, and during this time, He reminded me of the dream He had given me as a child—the dream to start an orphanage and support children across India. He also revealed a powerful vision related to the ministry, confirming that the direction I was heading in was His will.

At the age of 21, with the help of a childhood friend Libin, I started my own company (Kerith Entertainment Private Limited). God led me to open a head office in Mumbai. At the same time, I had an important project in Bihar for my brother’s wedding. However, during this project, my emotions got the better of me, and I stayed longer than planned, eventually contracting typhoid. By God’s grace, I recovered and returned to Kerala, but I realized I had lost my connection with the Holy Spirit for over a year and a half.

By June 2024, the Holy Spirit began speaking to me clearly once again. God gave me a list of things to do, and I wrote them down faithfully. Four men of God came to my house to confirm everything that God had spoken to me. With that, I stopped the company that God had initially given me and obeyed His call to go to Maharashtra.

I faced many challenges after that. When I arrived in Mumbai, nothing happened for two weeks. Then, unexpectedly, my aunt referred me to an NGO. I went there to volunteer, and they eventually offered me a job. I was provided with a good cabin, and I thought I was on the right track. But after a month, the organization wasn’t happy with my work, and I became a burden to them. I prayed to God, asking why He had brought me to this place.

One night, God spoke to me in a powerful way. He told me to pray for the NGO, to intercede on its behalf. He even instructed me to sit at the entrance of the NGO and pray. I obeyed and spent time praying in the soil, asking God to reveal His will. Shortly after, I felt a clear sense that I would soon leave the NGO. A few days later, a brother in Christ came to pray with me, and he confirmed what I had been feeling in my heart.

At the same time, a sister in Christ invited me to an event in Mumbai. I felt the pull to help her, but I was still committed to the NGO. I prayed for guidance. On October 10, after much prayer and reflection, I decided to leave the NGO. I didn’t know what the future would hold, but I knew that God was calling me to something greater.

Looking back now, I can see God’s hand in every step of the journey. From the childhood dream to the challenges I faced, to the moments of uncertainty, He was always there, guiding me. What I had surrendered to Him, He used to fulfill His promises. Today, I stand on the verge of the vision God gave me all those years ago—ready to build, support, and serve the children of India. I may not know all the details, but I am fully confident that God’s plan is perfect, and I am ready to walk in faith wherever He leads.

Dear child of God, whatever situation you are going through, just trust in God. Follow what God has given you. Prophets, pastors, parents, and friends may not know your calling and purpose in life, and they may turn against you. But if it’s God’s plan, trust Him and follow Him blindly. Only He knows your path. Read the Bible, spend time in prayer, and grow in Christ.

Testimony: Trusting God's Plan

It was at that point that God revealed the childhood dream He had given me—to start an orphanage and support Indian kids and youth. God also revealed a powerful vision about BaaM. So many things happened in between, and God made a way for me to start my own company at the age of 21(November 2023). With the help of a childhood friend, Libin, I launched thecompany, and God sent me to Mumbai to open the head office(March 2024).

At the same time, I had a project in Bihar for my dear brother’s wedding. I went there, but due to emotions and relationships, I stayed longer and ended up with typhoid. By God's grace, I returned to Kerala. From that point, I began praying again after having lost my connection with the Holy Spirit for 1.5 years. By June 2024, the Holy Spirit started speaking to me very clearly. God gave me confirmation and a to-do list, which I wrote down. After that, God sent four men of God to my house to confirm it all. So, I stopped the company God had given me and obeyed when He told me to go to Maharashtra.

On October 10, she texted me again, and I shared my situation with her. I wasn’t consistent at the life, and if I told them, everyone would turn against me. Two days earlier, I had already told my parents and friends that I was going to do full-time ministry. In the NGO, I had a good salary, food, and accommodation, but I prayed and asked God for guidance. I told my pastor uncle about it, asking if it was God’s will. He didn’t hold me back; instead, he sent me off with love. That same day, I was released from the job.

I didn’t know what the new job would be, what the salary would be, or anything else. I only knew that my dream was about to be fulfilled, a dream that God had placed in my heart 12 years ago. I went to the interview, but it turned into a meeting. I saw the hand of God in it all. What I had given up to God, He fulfilled His promises and purpose for my life.

Dear child of God, whatever situation you are going through, just trust in God. Follow what God has given you. The story of Joseph is a powerful reminder of how God often chooses the most unexpected people to fulfill His grandest plans. If you were to ask anyone in Joseph's time, "What could a young, inexperienced boy possibly know about a great dream or the future of a nation?" most would scoff. Even the most skilled and knowledgeable couldn’t grasp the meaning behind his dreams. But Joseph’s wisdom came from a place far beyond human understanding—it was the anointing of God that gave him the insight others lacked.

The World’s Standards vs. God’s Purpose

In Joseph’s early life, we see a boy who was not just overlooked but actively rejected by those closest to him—his own brothers. He was mocked, abandoned, and sold into slavery. To the world, he was nothing more than a forgotten outcast. Yet, God saw something different. Where others saw a young boy with no worldly status, God saw a future leader with a divine purpose.

God doesn’t operate by the world’s standards. As the Bible says in 1 Samuel 16:7, "The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart." When Joseph’s brothers saw weakness, God saw the heart of a leader who would rise to save not only his family but an entire nation.

The Power of Anointing

Joseph's journey from the pit to the palace wasn’t one of luck or worldly strategy. It was the result of God’s anointing and purpose. Though he faced trials—betrayal, slavery, imprisonment—God’s plan never wavered. Joseph was equipped with divine insight that no amount of human knowledge could match. Even when the most experienced people around Pharaoh couldn’t interpret his troubling dreams, Joseph’s anointing gave him the clarity and wisdom to provide the answers.

As we see in 1 Corinthians 1:27: "But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong." Joseph, once a forgotten prisoner, became the governor of Egypt because he was chosen and anointed by God to fulfill a purpose beyond human comprehension.

From Mockery to Destiny

Despite being mocked, abandoned, and overlooked, Joseph rose to a position where he didn’t just save himself—he saved an entire nation from famine. The same brothers who sold him into slavery would later come to him in need. But Joseph understood something profound: God’s plan was bigger than the pain he had endured. He recognized that the rejection he faced was part of God’s greater purpose. As he told his brothers in Genesis 50:20: "You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives."

This verse highlights one of the most significant truths in Joseph’s story: no matter what others intend or how bleak the situation looks, God’s plan is always for our good and His glory. Joseph’s journey from the bottom to the top is a testament to how God uses the abandoned, the mocked, and the struggling—not always the "best" by the world’s standards—to bring about His greatest plans.

What Does This Mean for Us?

Often in life, people may question why you're in a certain place or position. You might feel unqualified, rejected, or even abandoned by those around you. But Joseph’s story reminds us that God doesn’t need the world’s approval to use you. In fact, it’s often those who are overlooked or underestimated that God chooses to elevate.

God’s purpose for your life is not determined by what others see—it’s about what He has purposed for you. Just as Joseph rose to a position of influence and leadership, you too can rise above your circumstances when you walk in the anointing and purpose God has placed over your life.

Joseph’s life is a powerful example of how God works through the broken, the rejected, and the overlooked to fulfill His purposes. It’s a reminder that the struggles we face are often part of a bigger picture—a divine plan that only God can see. So, when people question your place or your purpose, remember Joseph’s story.
